Bermudes Barracuda in the Twilight

June 11th, 2013 by FIB'ers

Check out this great report from Steve Bermudes
Well its that time again – Spring time and twilight fishing. A after, work cheap 6 hrs, for a chance at great tasting sand bass and barracuda. I did a trip with the Long Beach Marina 3\4 day Enterprise (No don’t beam me up), an nice old metal hull skippered by capt. Frank Salvino. This was my first twilight of the year, and I heard the barracuda were still feeding on the small squid, so I got out the old white feather and went to work! On my first cast I was rewarded with an 8 pounder. If you have never tried twilight fishing trips it’s a cool summertime answer to beat the heat. Most landings run this type of trip spring though fall.
